Who puts the guide together?
Wil Cheung is our senior editor, and he takes suggestions from our friends in Beijing. These friends include DJ Wordy - 3 time China DMC Champion, and DJ Chozie - Asia’s #1 House DJ, as well as local executives, students, and expats.
I have a correction for the guide, or am opening a new restaurant. How do I update the guide?
Information in the guide is mostly pulled from hotel, restaurant, and venue websites - these websites are sometimes out of date, and some mistakes do occur, so we have cross checked this information with other sources and constantly updating - If you have any additions or corrections, please email us at support@hoodhottravel.com, and we will issue the update with the next release.
How often is the guide updated?
Currently, updates are scheduled to be uploaded biweekly. We try our best to stay updated with the newest openings and changes in Beijing, working with development companies and our editors in Beijing to stay ahead of the curve. Since apps have to be reviewed by the app store (this takes up to a week), updates pushed out today may take up to two weeks to take. Future versions will be able to update on the fly and accept edits from users.
